Season 2 · May 4, 2026
Nine Wesleyan student founders walked onto the stage at Merkin Hall, pitched their companies to five alumni investors, and walked off with $45,000 in live investment.
The audience voted to award the $5,000 People's Choice prize to Rowan Tracey and Medfield Junk — a freshman running a profitable junk removal company in Eastern Massachusetts.
Beyond the capital, the Sharks offered patent lawyers, introductions to CEOs, connections to Grammy winners, and commitments to open doors across industries.
The Sharks — Season 2
Season 1 · April 26, 2025
The pilot. Twelve students, seven ventures, and a packed house at Wesleyan's Ring Theatre. Founders pitched live to a panel of seven alumni investors who committed $20,000 on stage.
100+ people filled the room — the largest student-led entrepreneurship event Wesleyan had hosted at the time. The Argus covered both the program and the night itself.
